on Safety with ASTI's Intrusion Alarm System™
 The Intrusion Alarm System offers the ultimate in Work Zone
protection with the SL-D24 and the SL-D12. Both units were designed to be
used where moving vehicles pose a threat to work crews. The purpose is to
give workers the earliest possible warning that a vehicle has entered a
"Safety Zone" such as a taper that is closed off by cones,
barrels, or other channelizing devices.
These units are
extremely easy to use. They are rugged, lightweight, portable and completely
self contained. Unlike microwave or laser alarms, these units are "ready
to go" and do not need barrels or other cumbersome mounting devices
and can be aligned in less than a minute with the Alignment LEDs. A variety
of options such as power supplies and sirens, allow the units to be tailored
to meet the users specific needs.
Solar Chargers are
now standard equipment.
